The 2023 Global Urban Citizens Cohort spent a week exploring democracy and public space in Frankfurt, Germany.

This video captures Maximum City’s 2023 Global Urban Citizens exchange between Canadian and German students in partnership with Carl-Schurz-Schule and the University of Toronto Schools.

Participants were asked to solve the following big question: What role can public space play in democracy?
