Position: Project Analyst
Job Type: Full Time Contract, one year (with opportunity for renewal)
Duration: Summer February 2025 - February 2026
Remuneration Range: $60,000 - $80,000
Experience Level: Minimum two years of professional experience
Location: Remote with up to two in-office days per week in our downtown Toronto office. Additional occasional in-person engagements in the Greater Golden Horseshoe, including some evenings.

Our services are in demand, presenting the opportunity to add an additional Project Analyst to our team. About the Role
We are looking for a junior to intermediate team member to support projects. The successful candidate must be able to work well with a team, and work across a number of projects, including analyzing qualitative and quantitative data sets, creating presentations and graphics, supporting the planning and facilitation of workshops and meetings, and project tracking and coordination. As a member of a close-knit team, this position will also contribute to staff and business development.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in project-based work with the ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-moving work and learning environment. The role requires some evening commitments, some travel within the Greater Golden Horseshoe, and occasional international travel. Maximum City has a hybrid work model, with up to two in-office days per week in our downtown Toronto office.
Core Responsibilities
Analyze, synthesize, and assist with reporting on qualitative and quantitative data sets, including data visualizations.
Support research and engagement planning, including survey design and other data collection methods.
Support the design and development of project materials and resources, including presentations and graphics.
Support the facilitation of meetings, consultations and public presentations.
Support report and proposal writing.
Skills and Experience
Education: A postgraduate degree (or undergraduate degree + experience) in education, public policy, business, design, geography, urban planning, urban studies, or a combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of one year of professional experience in project-based work in any of the following fields: public policy and development; facilitation and engagement; education; child and youth development; urban planning; design; research and data analysis.

Collaborative team member who shares knowledge
Working proficiency in: Microsoft and Google Suites, especially Google Docs and Sheet; Adobe Suite; Canva
Knowledge of Esri products and spatial mapping tools would be an asset
Fluency in languages other than English would be an asset
Willingness to secure a Vulnerable Sector Screening from a police service or equivalent Letter of Declaration since we work with vulnerable populations
